What I Learned at REALTOR® Quest 2026 and How It Benefits My Clients in Durham Region

Each year, thousands of real estate professionals gather at REALTOR® Quest, Canada’s largest real estate conference and trade show, to learn about the latest market trends, innovative technology, and strategies to better serve clients.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending REALTOR® Quest 2026 alongside several of my colleagues from Royal Heritage Realty Ltd., Brokerage.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was hearing Michelle Obama speak. Her message about leadership, resilience, and community was both inspiring and deeply meaningful. I also had the opportunity to meet Rebecca Mountain, founder of The Mountain Method, whose work focuses on helping professionals build stronger businesses and more meaningful connections.

Events like REALTOR® Quest are an important part of my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Real estate is constantly evolving, and staying informed allows me to provide my clients with up-to-date advice, innovative marketing strategies, and the highest level of service.

Annual Food Drive 2026 – Thank You for Supporting Our Community 🤍

Every year, one of the initiatives closest to my heart is my Annual Food Drive in support of local families in need through The Salvation Army.

This year, I had the privilege of collecting donations from the Argent Park, Longworth, and Northglen communities in Bowmanville, and I am truly overwhelmed by the generosity, kindness, and support shown by so many incredible people.

Over the course of the week, bags filled with non-perishable food items, pantry staples, and household essentials quickly filled not only my vehicle, but my friend Brenda’s vehicle as well! Seeing trunk after trunk full of donations was such a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a meaningful cause.

What touched me the most was not only the amount donated, but the conversations, messages, and support from residents who wanted to help make a difference. Some people left donations on their porch before heading to work, others reached out to coordinate pickups around busy schedules, and many shared kind words and encouragement throughout the process. It truly showed the heart of this community.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to my dear friend Brenda for helping me with pickups—even in the rain ☔️ Your support and generosity mean so much to me.

And of course, thank you to The Salvation Army for the incredible work they do every single day supporting individuals and families in our community. It is an honour to contribute, even in a small way, to the important services and support they provide.
